if your wondering why Red is so important… the red light is both not attractive to bugs, and allows you to adjust back to the dark almost instantly. It is also considered polite around the water to not be shining a white light into the water.
There is two modes in white and one is a lot stronger than the other. The Red doesn’t photograph well, but you will comfortably be able to rig up and search your bag or boat. The red also has two stages solid and flashing.
