Fur Babies
Over 25 years of bream fly obsession have gone in to the making of the Fur Baby. Growing up idolising the flies of the great saltwater pioneers like Lefty, Flip, Chico Fernandez and Tim Borski I drew on inspiration from their tying styles and the successful elements of their designs. I incorporated those ideas into my flies, refining them as I learnt what worked and what the fish wanted. Spending countless hours watching the fishes behaviours towards the flies I presented to them has thought me to think and tie outside of conventional wisdom when it comes to bream and estuary flies in general.
Tied with materials in a style that the flies will always be moving even when not being retrieved - they come to life in the water.
