Safety Shrimp - Ploy Flies

If you’re looking for a fly to make you feel safe and confident that you’ll get it back after casting it into a mangrove lined edge, or rootball, then this is the fly for you!
I designed this one after coming to the conclusion that I needed a slow sinking shrimp with heaps of movement, that could be cast hard up into the mangroves and small snake drains during the prawn run.
I usually use the Angry Adams for this, but I wanted the option of being able to present it as a shrimp, instead of a baitfish profile.
Perfect for Bass, Ep’s, Murray Cod, Flathead, Bream and Mulloway in the south, or Sooties, Mangrove Jacks, Thready’s and Barra in the north.
Tip - Bend the eyes up for extra piece of mind around structure, or bend them slightly lower than the hook point for maximum hook exposure and fish them on the flats or even Bluewater.
