Moon Crab Gen 3

The Generation 3 Moon Crab stands on the shoulders of years of actual fishing experience for an optimized set of legs for Moon Crab flies.
Aside from the more rugged look to the previous models, the Gen 3 features larger gaps between the legs, slightly longer legs, and thinner legs. This is to assist water flow between the legs so the fly sinks faster, and is less susceptible to tidal influence. This also may mean less weight is needed. The new vertical claws also offer less drag in the water to both assist descent, but also to offer a significant increase in prey ID for fish like permit that like to take a close look. 

The design now has a different tie in point allowing for a variety of carapace designs. 
Most of the time, Moon crabs are fished static, certainly with the very popular Gavs Crab, and we have learned by fishing these legs that contrast is huge. We have incorporated 3 colours into this design that replicate the natural colours of a Moon Crab, and also the natural contrast against a range of bottom  types.

The new design caters for both the Ahrex SA220 and the SA2210. The new model is slightly wider than the Gen 2 which means it can handle a larger hook as well as the traditional sizes for the Gen 2.
