A crab carapace yarn that sinks. Just like the classic Bauer Crab (by Will Bauer) that was developed in the 70’s, we have sourced a yarn that sinks. Don’t use buoyant material like McFlyfoam and Egg Yarn..the Flats Craft “Crab Yarn” is a product for purpose.. and that is to get your flies to the bottom without having to battle buoyancy with an uncastable weight. Do not use this for indicators, or parachutes, McFlyfoam and Egg yarn is perfect for that.. if your tie crab flies for the purpose of fishing, you will know how valuable a sinking yarn is.
