*Hooks vary in size from brand to brand so sizing can vary. We have paired with our shells with All Flats Craft range claws and their recommended Ahrex hooks with great results. You can see the recommended hooks on each of the Crab Claw pages. Orientation of the shell on the hook can also make a big difference in hook size.
